If they cheated from the start it wouldn't make sense to ban them during the finals. Ehh either way, I guess they got caught. Makes you wonder why it took til match 3 of the finals to catch it.

he said i only cheated in the 3rd map

somehow i injected cheats without relogging

definitely a pro

He was clean every other match except for this last one. He got the cheats for the finals, didn't use it any time prior. We've already checked logs.

Can you explain how this is possible without re logging into the AC? Just wondering. I would love to see the proof.

Your question doesn't really make sense, but regardless i'm not going to go into detail because that's on a need to know basis. AC logs are checked for legitimacy then archived. We checked his past records and they came up clean with the exception of this match.

IDK if he was "Using" them during the match but the AC should continuously monitor the system for cheats.

I was just getting to this. There is no obligation for us to plead to the court with evidence showing how guilty a person is of cheating. Our AC caught him cheating. That's pretty much all we need to divulge. Our system has done a decent job so far in large events, so let's not start the witch hunt when someone all of a sudden gets caught. He got caught. End of witch hunt.

I never released any info regarding what map, because the logs are not broken down into maps. It is broken down into matches and sessions. I checked this match and his account was flagged for cheating, so I took that information and checked for the same cheat in previous rounds and it was not present in those logs. I could update the anti-cheat mid-match if I needed to, and add new flags. And a player could in theory inject while running the anti-cheat, however foolish that may be. The anti-cheat is more of a passive system when it comes to CrossFire, it will not attempt to interfere with the game, and that includes stopping cheats. It is designed to detect those cheats and report the information back for review. The only time the anti-cheat will take action is to protect itself from being attacked.

Why would the 3rd place winner play for 1st place? Someone cheating doesn't invalidate the previous games, especially when not caught in those previous games.
