The reason I posted here is because although it IS a guide, it's more suited to here, because you won't necessarily read the guide section before making a post about getting yourself recruited.

It makes more sense to have the post here.

First of all, Denxi posted this in the best place. Most guides are trash, there is little reason to bother reading information there.

This however, should be stickied with the following changes...

Ping, we need to know a players ping. While they could tell us where they are from it really does not give you a good idea of what ping this player uses. A player from Europe with a great connection could easily have a better ping then a West Coast player. While many will say that ping does not make a big difference, try playing with over 100 ping. Try playing with a ping that spikes, it can be the most annoying thing in the world.

FPS, another often overlooked bit of information. I will and have denied players spots on line ups because of their fps. If players cannot deal with situations effectively it really does not matter how amazing they are when they do not have to deal with smokes and more.

Players are often ****y, and more or less post I HAVE CS 1.6 CAL I EXP PICKED ME UP I AM PRO. A post like that gives you very little information. Not to mention most seem to ¨forget¨ to put the team they played with in CAL, or their steam info etc.
