I think it's cause there is no prizes that people don't wanna join? I dunno?

I mean what's wrong with some friendly competition, I did state that this is a test tournament, to see how well the Public community will reside ya know?

It's fine

For a smaller tournament, the teams signed up already are fine, and there's a week to go for signups.

No need for dozens of teams to sign up, when you can run several smaller tournaments like this back to back for experience and practice.
