Game shuts down

When I'm playing Crossfire it sometimes shuts down and then my desktop looks really weird. I don't know what to do!

I hope someone can help me with this.

Tht happned to me and sometimes my screen goes complelty black andi have to shut down my laptop by force

Sometimes I get a runtime error and closes, it's very rare.
But today I was playing and it just randomly instantly it closed and took me to my desktop. It was even faster than Force closing it. It was amaising. I didn't know my computer could do something of that speed.

I get this too, but I figured out a way to lessen the repition of it.

Once it happens, restart your computer.
When your computer comes on, let your startup programs open before you click anything. Next, close all programs that aren't needed, for instance.. MSN/Yahoo messengers, xfire, Firewalls, widgets, etc.
Run Gamebooster, and defrag your CrossFire/G4box/Z8 Games folder to defrag Crossfire.
Hit "Gaming Mode" on gamebooster and close all unwanted processes.
Run crossfire as administrator if you're running Vista, and play.

Yeah I use gamebooster, haven't defraged since the xmas patch, probly should do.

ha! im on a desk top and the little f*** wont even load! shuts itself down befor it even starts
