Crossfire won't start

I tried playing crossfire today but when I clicked "Start", the patcher doesn't show up and when I try again it says "Patcher_cf is already running". I already tried restarting my computer and re-installing CF but nothing worked. Any help? Nothing pops up at all.

Bump...No one knows? The patcher shows up sometimes but always ends up freezing and unresponsive

go to folder of game and then click on file version by right click then choose porpertes and put Sign on readonly then apply then ok and tell me if sucess

I have almost the same problem. It won't tell me that the client is already running because it shuts down immediately after pressing the start button. Also redowloading or -installing the game doesn't help at all for me, what is interesting in relation to the striped bar in the left corner which isn't fully shown.

Make sure it's running as administrator, make sure your flash player, adobe reader and graphics card software is up to date. These are the simplest fixes, it almost sounds as if you have a corrupted file somewhere, in which case uninstalling cf isn't enough. You will have to uninstall and delete all cf files then re-install it.

Right. I did that already everything several times. It looks corrupted to me but I can't do anything against it since nothing helps. And as I said before: I already redownloaded and reinstalled the whole game and also the client downloader many times.

I will check the adobe reader, if it's really needed it may cause the trouble.

P.S.: I didn't find any information about the adobe reader being needed. I do have a pdf reader anyway...
P.P.S: CF EU doesn't work also. Seems like it's definitely a launcher problem.
