Depending on how long your lease time for your IP is, you can turn your modem off for the said amount of time. Typically 24 hours.

If I may ask, what did you do to get banned off of a site?

I wouldn't try to ask which site it was, no names!! xD.

As for changing your IP, you could check your router to see if you have a static or dynamic IP. Well I think it's via the router, or else through the ISP. But yea I've heard to just reset it for a 24 hour-long duration works.

Going to close this up.

As part of our process to determine malicious users we often use IP information. We have investigative processes to us as much evidence as possible to remove users.

Obviously since you're posting on an account here in normal standing I will assume it is not our site you are referring to. However if you were banned from a site, then it's probably for a good reason.


This topic is not relating to CrossFire, or competitive gaming. And if you can't compete cleanly or respectfully then you should just avoid competition all together.

In addition, why don't you take your general queries to Google, rather than trolling our forums.
