sick of being kicked
hi all ,ihave only been playing crossfire for a short time ,but in that time i have kicked on numerous occasions for alleged hackin.let me just state "i dont hack period". i play alot of css and am a fair player but on crossfire it seems that as soon as u start to do to well everyone screams *** and u get vote kicked without the right of appeal.come on z8 games get ur act together and sort out this unfair kicking process from people who have no clue of either what a hack is or are just plain bad players. ok thats my moaning over and done with . merry xmas to all on z8 games

Anyway i agree and its always rookies that kick. I think there should be a rank limate so that new members that arn't very good cant kick like on metin 2 you cant shout untill your level 15. -
I guess this is not a new issue and both sides keep omplaining in the forums alot. I am not a good player, most of my clanmates kick my arse badly and our clan is very strict about not using hacks. Still I get called a hacker alot since I virtually only play GM on GR and know the maps, the sounds of the different floor materials and the places people like to hide very well and can spot a lot of people easily using my ears and my brain.
A couple of things that I'd appreciate to be clarified for new or unexperienced players (and please jump in on that z8, there must be a way to let people know how this game works):
- on good headphones you can easily hear if breath or footsteps or whatnot is left or right of you (a lot of people claim you can't)
- breath- and step down does not make you completely silent! You still make noise, just not as much (again people often claim the opposite)
- nobody is helped with if people spam-complain within a round - if you really want to expose a hacker (given that you really found one) is to shut up, finish the round, save the replay and report them using the official ways in the forum
(suggestion - auto-reply pm to everyone who uses "hack" in a chat- "Dear player, if you are sure of what you are saying please wait till the end of the round, save the replay, watch it to make sure you are right and report using the official way. So long let the others in this room play in peace, thank you very much" =P)
To be honest I remeber times when speedhacks and aimbots were a real fun-killer, by now I can barely make a distinction between a hacking nuub or a good player (actually the hacking nuubs are easier to kill most of the time xD), so I don't even bother. By now the real fun-killer are those paranoid whiners who scream hack everytime they die. An auto-reply could fix this rather quickly =P.
One last fix I'd like to promote:
Please include breath sounds in the replays - not only will it be easier to judge on a reported replay if a player actually reacted on something he heard (rather than chamming, which is the most common complaint from people who haven't understood the sound concept of this mode), but it would also help to teach people who think others hack to watch a replay to get a better idea of the design of this mode and the tactics to play it.

Whiny Noobs
The nerve of some people...
Some German dude said that he knew me and he said that I lag like hell. Recently I've improved my computer tenfold and now it has 200 FPS and 45 ping. Then it gets worse because apparently SOME people think low ping means horrible lag. Also all of these whiny s☠☠☠-face guys started ganging up on me with all these hackusations. Now they say I hack and yet hackers are the ones who started this whole f☠☠☠ing mess.:mad:

just an update to my inital post,on the delta server tonite and twice i get kicked from 2 rooms for i can only imagine being better than the clans i was playing with and against at the time.here are a few of the clans that descided to vote kick me.
1.pubstarz
2.S E X
3.nocontrol
4.subuma
5.muntenia
i know that i should just shrug it of but on both occasions it was the final few seconds of the games and i would have ended up beating all of the above clans to mvp ace and dare i say last kill!!! lol.im not saying that im the best at this game im average player who does not cheat in any way and would be happy to have my pc scanned by any admin at anytime. i thought that by playing on the delta server i would be playing against better players who would appreciate someone who can play well but no its just more of the same votekicking if you are in the lead.comeon guys give a player the benifit of the doubt and the right to answer players who are accusing others of cheating. -

Heres what I do
1. Keep My MOUTH SHUT
2. Save Replay
3. Review replay (if you dont your just being lazy) usually 3 times differing angles.
4. If they appear to be cheating I turn it in. I send PM to player informing them I sent it.
5. If it isnt clear they are cheating I just delete it.
6. If its clear they are pro. I send them a PM telling them I respect their play. And that I reviewed their replay. I also tell them they have my F12 next time we play together.
7. If they are pro I usually learn something.
But I agree the kiking is over the top. But I usually just take it as a back handed compliment.
