Brazil and Russia, 2 countrys with a population of 190mio. and 140mio, each sending 2 Teams to China while 2 continents europe(750mio) and North America(530mio) where representing by each 1 Team .

Because we should totally look at country/continent population and not player base. Because obviously places like Brazil send 100's of participants to the Winter Olympics simply because they have 190m.
