Follow along with your favorite country at the Sochi Olympics this February, and compete in CrossFire in our own Winter Games for amazing prizes!
8 unique events track events happening in the entire CrossFire game. As the event gets closer to the goal look for the amazing prizes you can earn for your account by Playing CF during the game time.

When an event reaches it's goal the prizes will be awarded to all players based on the time they have spent in game during the event.
Spend 10 Hours from February 8 onward in game and win the Bronze Prize
Spend 15 Hours from February 8 onward in game and win the Silver Prize
Spend 25 Hours from February 8 onward in game and win the Gold Prize
If you win the Gold Medal for a challenge that also means you'll win the silver and bronze for the challenge too. (same with silver/bronze)
The hours we count will be calculated from February 8th until the day the event challenge is complete.

SCREW your winter games @$$holes...... People can't connect to Alpha and various other servers and you DON'T CARE....... How in the hell can anyone even PLAY your winter games if they can't get the damn game to work????? Why don't you stop posting this $hit and go look at the damn support forums for a change???

So do you have to get 25 hours in-game to be eligible for the gold medal for each event or in total throughout the cf winter games?
You have to have played 25 hours by the time the challenge is done.
So for example. The event starts on Feb 8th. Let's say a challenge completes itself by Feb 19th.
That means you need to have played 25 hours from Feb 8th - Feb 19th (which is just over 2 hours a day average).
We want to award people prizes, so the point of this event was to pick numbers that wouldn't achieve themselves right away. Though we don't know how well received this will be! Hopefully it will be right in that sweet spot where a challenge will take the majority of the event time to finish which gives the maximum time to reach your 25 hours.
Subsequently, if you get a gold medal for the first challenge then you'll have a gold medal prize for every other challenge already. -

I'm assuming you're under the impression that everyone cheats in game. Therefore every event we run is going to inevitably give items to cheaters.
I've also removed a reference to an actual fun time that was had by a few members of the cf community from my signature. Your posts, and your community interaction is exactly the reason we can't have nice things.
If you don't like the event, don't play the game. Simple as that. -
