Laptop

Which one of these is the best? I don't need a desktop because I already have a built one. It's mostly going to be used for light gaming like cf or LoL and papers. Portability is always nice too. My cousin received a 500$ gift card which he gave to me. So here are the choices and which one would be the best? Or any other options that are arround 500$. Or better.

Edit: Never tried windows 8. Any thoughts or opinions?

you want portability but only list 17" laptops, also is amazon the only website you can use that card?

Portability as in i can take over to a house when I house/dog sit . Edit: the 17" laptops were because I wanted a bigger screen when I watch dexter or netflix. I would think so sadly.

the first will offer better performance in graphical games, such as league of legends, not so much in CF, it also create more heat and probably get less battery life.

the second, you shouldn't even consider

third, probably will have better performance in CF but not so well in other games than the first one, does have 2gb more of ram and probably will get better battery life than the first, other than that, depending on what your intended use is will be the ultimate deciding factor.

Well I intended to add 4gb of ram to the 1st one and will have a cooling pad if I do get it. Thanks anyway pal, appreciate the help

I've only had one 17" laptop and really disliked it, much too large. Food for thought.
