One way to improve accuracy is to make sure your cursor is positioned in such a way that would account for player perspective. You need to work on this until it becomes natural. So as you approach an area, your pointer should be positioned in such a way that it would be head level of your enemy if they happened to be there. The pointer would be adjusted accordingly as you approach to account for the player perspective.
Maybe this is too much information. Hope you understand what am trying to convey. -
I camping, sum times xD it's a legit tactic that ppl. always QQ ovr so B prepared 4 that but all it good in the wrld. still. personally I use the circle cross hairs color green. type of cross hairs b/c it's perfect 4 your aim
especially since the main area ya should aim is "the head" xD -
Knowing the map is a massive help when it comes to SnD games. If you know where your opponents are going to be you can be ready for them before they show up. This is even more true in pubs where everyone just rushes the other team regardless of what side they are on.
Aim head/chest level all the time.
Use headphones and listen for gunshots/footsteps.
Use the map in a logical way.
And a big one, learn something from your mistakes.
When you die think about why you did so, or what you could have done to avoid it. If someone is picking you off with an AWM all the time start tossing smokes or go another way.
Besides things like this, there is not to much someone can just tell you to make you better. A lot of it is just learning. -

It's funny you mention those 3 things, because most people I meet ingame, spray like no tomorrow, listen to music while they play (S&D) on max level and have no clue where to go in the map.
It also helps if you're a little older than most of the CF community, maturity tends to help. -
why is this in the weapons forum?
The OP asked how to become accurate but there is nothing more to add other than practice so we gave him tips to become a better player. so i guess this can go into barracks but it really doesn't make a difference. we kind of went off topic on this one but it should help. -
Ok here is the biggest tip of all...
Right when you see the pink guy turn neon green hit your aim bot key and press fire.
Ps, camping is boring I would much rather rush and lose its not like we play this game for money or anything.
well that is the sorry mentality for you -.- -
Get comfortable with your sensitivity and know the maps.
Once you know the maps like the back of your hand, stop pubbing S&D and go play TDM maps like Power Plant and Train to improve your aim and recoil control.
Honestly you guys are getting WORSE pubbing S&D for 5 hours a day. Play TDM for a little bit, then go scrim and you'll do better. -
It's funny in Pubs people QQ about other people camping, but Skrims are almost based on camp and wait for the opposite team to come. Ye you have to kinda wall hack, without wall hack. You have to think where people could be hiding and keep ur crosshair at head level... not looking at the ground like a lot of people do

the problem with TD maps like egypt or even ship is that you get naded once or more when you come out of spawn leaving you with 30 hp or less. now that is terrible practice. but i understand your logic and i do play TD just more of S&D cause it's good for trying out new camping spots/rushing strats
and ffa is just disgusting... too many people meaning many will spawn and shoot you from behind -

Where does playing music and owning come in? -

Hence why I said Train and Power Plant.
Both are pretty open maps to work on longer distance shooting while still having enclosed areas for you to battle it out in.
And like 8 person FFA is good as well. Then you shoot everyone and its on S&D maps to boot.
