Ancient player with a quick question

Hey guys, I played this game like five years ago. I was wonder how the hacking situation is these days? I gave up because there was such a huge problem in ghost mode but I was really reluctant because I loved the game. Is there still a problem? I've been thinking of re-downloading.

Install the game and join UK-1 server. Pick any room of your choice (TDM preferred) then enjoy being a public cow. You don't need any kills.

If you're worried about hackers, I'd just keep lurking the forum until you see some kind of update has been done. Like most of us are. Not even really playing until we see some sort of movement from xtrap or movement with z8 on the broken report system.

It's pretty bad at the moment.

Is there an update planned or are people just hoping?

There was just a content update patch, but no real antihacking implementations like we've seen in past updates.

So I'm assuming we are due for another xtrap update here soon.
