Welcome to E8 - Competitive CF

Welcome to E8/
Competitive CF

If this is your first time playing competitive CF or a 4+ year veteran, then this is the place to find all you need to know about the current meta rule-set.

For years CrossFire North America has seen many tournaments come and go, yet many of them have been ran with the same rule-set. That being WOGL, WCG, ESL, CFS, OCG, ESG, and many more.

To help current and new players know what the standard rule-set is here is an overall list of what is expected once you're in E8.

So first off, if you are looking to expand your skills and want to test them out then hop on over to Echo 8 (Server - Echo / Channel - 8). This channel has been a dedicated place for all of our competitive players to Pub, Scrim, or to have matches in for years.

Now there are people out there that think just because its a competitive "Pub", or a "Scrim" that it doesn't matter. Well it does. It matters a lot because if you want to improve and test your skills with others that are on the same level as you, then you need to start acting serious.

"But oh, its a pub and we can do whatever we want!". If you want to be in a pub game and use whatever you want, then go to Alpha or some other server.

Here is the current meta rule-set

Ruleset taken from various sources

If there is a majority vote to have something changed please let it be known.

The reason behind this ruleset is to help other improve and to know what is going on. If you one day find yourself at an international event, then the rules above are going to be standard, thus is why using the proper weapons and items now will help you in the long run.
