Pc help.

So I threw a couple of bids on eBay and won a computer yesterday and today I won another computer by sheer luck. I don't need both of them. The one I won yesterday is a fx6300 with a 7850. Got it for 450. The one I won today is a 8350 + 7970 850$. I will be gaming but I don't have a 1080p monitor yet so all I have is a 17" screen. So do I keep the better one or sell it back?

There's really not a question here. The 8350 is the better CPU and the 7970 is the better GPU.

Well, I realize that but wouldn't a 8350 + 7970 be overkill on a 1280x 1024 monitor? I plan to buy a new monitor within 2-3 weeks. I wouldn't want it to be collecting dust.

nothings overkill. Eventually newer games come out needing higher specs. You could sell the other PC and buy a new monitor. have the other monitor for productivity. Make sure you wipe the harddrive.

Its definitely overkill. You should buy a new monitor if you plan to be using it.
