when your monitor can't maximize your screen, like it did on my laptop when i used 1024x768 rs, you get to black bars at the end of your scree. On on the right, and one on the left. Some people prefer it, others dont

the quality honestly doesn't bother me. The heads to me feel much more visible than on 1024, but that's just me.
