My thoughts are limited thanks to the horrible article giving no details;
Good times if it were on break and content shared between adults.
If he shared with the kids (age-range of his pupils?) or during class on IM or whatever, he deserved to get fired - not because of the content specifically, but rather - how engaged in educating can you be while watching any movie?


Perhaps OP could do the right thing and share his opinion too.
Surely you have one.

FOX News is not very creditable. In this article in particular, they give no details. Its just "teacher fired for watching **** in school. union got him reinstated. union hates your kids." They leave no room for an argument against them.

I personally agree with him being offered reinstatement.

Others involved were suspended, he was fired. Unfair. So ^^^^^^^

Would have been fairer if they all got fired at the start.
Watching **** at work on multiple occasions would get you fired from other jobs as well.
So yea, I don't like that he gets an offer for reinstatement.

Wasn't an important one it was the fact he gets paid to do what even a 6 year old could do.

Actually it is important, teaching without letting the person know you're teaching is fun and skillful.

Well, they have effectively ruined that guys teaching career. Pretty harsh for just looking at ****, albeit it was in a classroom with kids present.. Singling this guy out and firing only him makes no sense when there are other teachers involved. Also, the video says they were trading it around? Who the hell does that? It's ****, not Pokemon cards.

Good point to focus on.

If it wasn't in the presence of the kids, I honestly don't think its such a big deal. Its not like he was on ***tube fapping in front of kids. For all we know, it could have been on his break or before/after school. Where he went wrong was sending it to someone who was not okay with it. And for that, being fired is excessive imo. He was a middle school teacher. Kids in his class are probably doing worse than what he was sharing lmao
