your logic is great, why would anyone that is competitive spend money on a game that doesn't support a competitive environment? it's the job of an entity (CF) to provide a good product for investors (the competitive community) to invest their money into. people aren't stupid enough to put money into something when they don't see that entity making efforts to improve and attract investors. casual gamers simply spend money because they have a reason to, and competitive gamers don't spend money because they don't have a reason to. provide a good product for competitive gamers to invest in, not the other way around. this is just typical dirty and greedy asian business practice.
every time i mention crossfire to other competitive players in other fps games, they automatically refer to how sh1t it is for competitive play. -

that doesn't matter, when they analyze their financial statements they don't use segment margin to determine where to reinvest and utilize the profit, all the segments of cf are nearly the same, the improvements they put in one version goes to the next. that's the great thing about having one simple product accessible to different regions without changing much of the product, it's a goldmine if you can market it correctly. -
I see a lot of you posting in this thread that's been playing the game for such a long time and complaining all the while. My question to you is, why do you still play it? It's not like the games good, we all know it's bad. I understand you probably have some good memories from the past but with games like GS:GO growing everyday with updates added by a team that actually listens to the community, with competitive leagues with large cash pools it's just silly to me why you would still play this.
