How much more money are you going this make this year and give us spectacular servers and mind blowing prize money? Im loving our community ran LANs and 500 dollar prize money and you wonder why the competitive community is so trash.
Inb4 revenue =/= profit. Our expenses are so much more than riot.
Inb4 thts only tencent.

Is this the NORTH AMERICAN version that made this much, or all the versions in different regions included? Regardless.. if they're making that much money, they should give back to ALL communities like they do for their main country.. (*cough* China.)
Regardless.. DANG. Lotta' money.. .__. -

More than likely all versions. -
More than likely all versions.
Still. That's a lot of money.. the only thing we've accomplished up until 2013 was a homemade LAN made by two casual gamers and a friendly CEO that decided to give to the community without asking for anything in return. (@FGJon)
Hopefully 2014 brings more than last year. -
Petition to make the next VIP weapons cost more and use that money for NA LANs lol
That's the same technique Valve did for CS:GO, worked perfectly. Appearntly it's still working like a charm.. wouldn't be to bad of an idea to release a few VIP guns and then use those funds to save up for LAN's, Prizes, etc.
Once that gets up, maybe companies might start getting interested in the CrossFire scene more than they do now. -

If this game had NA events consistently with 5-10K for first place (Similar to MLG) This game would catch up with competitive scenes of games that are making less money than Crossfire. Its sad how they make almost a billion dollars, yet CF Stars prize pool was under 500K. lol. Greedy much? -

Either that or release competitive player skins like CS:GO, but dont change the gun in any way other than the color. Use that money for LANs. I would love to see 5-10 NA lans a year -

Well.. 500k is a pretty good prize pool for our version. But I get your point and I agree lol. I know for a FACT that Z8 Games makes a good buck off of this game while most of their prizes are game items, game points and Z8 Points. Those have no cash value to them, they could hand out 1,000,000 ZP and not lose sales. (Of course that one person would be lucky as hell, and never need ZP for awhile. xD)
But yeah. I think you can understand where I'm going. -

750k for top 8 teams is a joke compared to league.
League team has 75k~ per team each split, 2m prize pool in season championship. I guess CF costs too much to run. -
Well, down here in the jungle, we have BGL (it's like ghetto MLG) hosting weekly matches with a prize of 500 bucks for the winners, and we also have the biannual Razer Cup (with cash + gaming gear as prizes) the Rixty Cup (cash + ZP) and BGL Arena (biannual LAN event, 20k prize pool). Plus, Z8 is starting to sponsor amateur tournaments. But then again, CF is really H-U-G-E here in Brazil, and the streams get quite a bit of viewers (normally 15-20k watching the big tournaments), being second in popularity to LoL.

So we might have 3 going on per year.
By this time line: Feb 2014 = S2 Finals, Q3 2014 = S3 Finals, And Q1 2015 = S4 so we might have Quals starting in December again.
