Why not spend a few more dollars and get the FX-8320 since newegg is having a promo. You can get it for a total of $130.00 and you aren't really paying much more than what you are for your other cpu. Lastly, if you aren't going with a xfire setup then you can also pick up a decent ATX board for around $90.00. It would even allow you to OC that CPU with no problem providing you buy a decent cpu cooler.
On air you can easily OC that to 4.4ghz and run at a stable setting as long as you're using an aftermarket heatsink/fan for the CPU.
