I just realized that one of the reasons I've been playing CF less has been
Because of the community.
Some people just take this game way too seriously. All the drama in clans, all the ego some players have. All the hypocrisy, I've seen lots of competitive players insult each other, and then the next day they act as if they're best friends.
purpose of thread? I guess it was to vent a little.

every game has this, it's up to you how you take it in like the post above says, you have to realize that most of these people are just keyboard warriors, most of them wouldn't even dare say the stuff they say on here to a person in real life, it's just how the internet is.

IF that makes you not want to play a game alot, then your the problem my friend. Get over it
One of the most important things in an online game is the community.
I've seen lots of people play a game just because of the community. -

Sounds to me that YOU are the one that takes it seriously -
People invest a lot of their ego into this game. Always remember most people are, or at least want to be decent individuals but their ****ty life circumstances mess up their attitude, and a lot of people have ****ty life circumstances. These people need an outlet where they can be powerful because they lack power in their own real lives, hence their invest a lot of their hopes of obtaining this feeling of powerfulness into the game.
When things don't go as they would like them to, they are left feeling frustrated and angry towards the game that's supposed to be an outlet and save them from their ****ty real life circumstances. They in turn feel even more powerless than before and become rage filled balls of discontent. So they continue to invest more of themselves and their egos into the game in hopes that they can feel powerful again, which creates a ring, a vicious never ending cycle. It is very much like being a gambling addict except they are gambling their mental stability away. You will accomplish gaming zen if you simply decide against investing so much of your ego into the game. -

People, most of them take this game way too seriously and bring drama when they get mad or whatever.
A lot of people in this game have no tolerance or patience for anything. -

- Block those
- Laugh at those
- Don't take it too seriously

If that did not make any sense then what does? He was talking about how the community invests too much ego into the game and how it decreased the amount of time he played Crossfire. I explained why and how not investing ego into games will make you have more fun playing.
If anything it's your post that is spam because it did not contribute to the discussion.
