New laptop and bad FPS

The CPU doesn't have much power, if you turn some of the in-game settings down and use the lowest resolution you might get 40-50fps. I'm running a i3-2100 3.1GHz CPU/GPU with 4GB on Windows 7 and I average 80-100fps except in the ZM Dinner Theater map.

well, this game is processor based, and the "new" laptop you purchased has the processor equivalent to a netbook atom processor, it's mainly only used for emails/surfing web/office programs, it is comparable to a Pentium D processor which is fairly old.

Windows 8.
Can anyone explain why I only have 10-30 FPS?
HP Notebook 2000

Ram - 4GB (3.60 GB usable)
Windows 7
My 200$ doorstopper (laptop) I use to play Crossfire. I get 10 - 15 fps, and on lucky days I hit 25 fps. I have to render guns when i pick them up. (The screen freezes while the gun's files are pulled up such as All variants of crystal guns, VIP guns, and any gold guns). Turning corners costs me 2 fps, and for every person is is like .5 Fps drained. So I peek corners with 10 Fps and lucky aim for the head. A few of the keys are broken so I am using a external keyboard, and my sound jack is screwed up with only emits sounds through one side on my headset. (I checked its the laptop not my headset). Be grateful for what you have... -
