Scarhead is hosting their first ever tournament! This tournament will be hosted by Nick and I and we hope it goes well. We open it to All teams in the community whether your just a pub clan, or if your a high caliber competitive team. We are going to be running this tournament as cleanly and as professionally as we can. We ask that everyone plays with mature and respectable conduct, but most importantly we hope you have fun!

Plot Twist: ZP prize increase with the amount of people that register. We have hit the 16 team mark! We need 32! More Teams=MoreZP! This is all on you guys. Lets get some good competition in here!

Basic info
Registration Ends: December 31. Round 1 starts Saturday Jan 4th 5pm EST. Games will be on Saturdays and Sundays. Default time Always at 5pm Est only 16 Teams are participating
- If both teams agree on a different time, you may let the admins know and carry out the game. Must be on the same day however. SS of both teams agreeing needed for the game to be credible.
- Tournament Style: 5v5 SnD Single Elimination
- 9 rounds half / KNIFE round to decide GR and BL. During the Knife round, every player must go mid, no running around map/planting bomb/ no nades/flash/smoke.
***Only regular knifes Allowed!
- First team to 10 rounds wins.
- If tied, a Golden round will be played. Winner of the round wins the Match.

Forfeit Wins and Loses
If a team does not have five players in the server "readied up" after 15 minutes from the originally scheduled match time, then the other team will be able to submit a forfeit win. The captain of the team should post with screenshot proof in order to submit the forfeit win.

Anti-Cheat
You will be required to run a recording software that is listed below at a minimum of 10fps/10quality and you must record ALL sound. Live streaming will be allowed. The recording MUST start when it says "Joining game, please wait" while in the lobby and can only be stopped after the game is completely over.

Disputes, Exploits, Infractions
Exploits will be judged on a case by case basis. Ignorance will NOT be a valid excuse for using an exploit, whether it is known or not. If you think something is possibly an exploit, or you are unsure as to whether or not it is, don't do it!

Dispute Resolutions - All disputes must be filed via Match reporting/dispute thread and a league admin contacted within 30 minutes of the conclusion of the match along with the demo, specific infraction, and the round in which the infraction occurred. The Team being disputed has 30 mins to respond and start to resolve the matter. Disputes will be resolved by League Administrators and all decisions are final. Information to who the admins are and ways to contact them are provided at the very bottom.

Exploit & Infraction Penalties - Exploits and infractions will be dealt with on a case by case decision, but standard resolution for the below infractions include overturning the round in which the infraction occurred if the infraction had a direct impact on the outcome of that round

Scripts - All scripts that alter a player's hit box, or give a player an unfair advantage over others are illegal.

Cheating - If a team is found to have been using a ringer during a match, the match will be overturned, and the player will be banned from all Scarhead Gaming Events for account sharing.
If a player is found to be cheating and/or using illegal customization in any event that is ran by Scarhead Gaming, any matches played by the user for the team he/she is on at the time of the detection (not the time of the ban), in addition to any matches played for any other team after the time of the detection, will be overturned.
If a player is found to be ban evading in a Scarhead Gaming Event, any matches on any team that he/she has played in the last 30 days will be overturned. remaining players of said teams will also be banned from all Scarhead Gaming Events depending on the situation.


Match Report
Reporting deadline is Midnight on night of the Match.
Teams must update the information on the "Match Reporting Thread" by the reporting time for confirmation.
Team must retain replays/recording files/screenshots of each half of a match in case a dispute arises. These files can be deleted after the tournament ends.

Reports Should use this format:
Team 1 > Team 2
Team 1- # of Rounds won
Team 2- # of Rounds won
Links to screenshots and replays.

Teams must wait 20 minutes following the scheduled default time before submitting a forfeit win report. Valid proof is required (screenshots, confirm able chat logs, etc).
Disputes should be done via dispute thread or admin PM.

Prices
Thus far, a prize of 20k ZP is guaranteed to the S5. The price with definitely increase as the tournament progress. All Prizes come courtesy of your fellow Scarhead Members!

Boosting and Bomb Plants:

Stepping on top of a team player or nearby objects is permitted.
Double jumping is allowed
Climbing up to a higher structure by stepping on the lower structure or a teammmate is allowed
Moving by abnormal methods (using a bug) to get place to place is strictly NOT ALLOWED
C4 must be planted in a viewable location and cananot be planted in a place that requires a boost
