Curious - What do you think of cosmetic character items?
In a competitive environment, what is your opinion on allowing/wearing cosmetic character items such as hats, backpacks, etc.? Does it affect game play so much that it hinders your ability to aim/shoot/land shots? Just going over all the angles for potential rule revisions and such for upcoming events. I'm curious to see what all of you think about those kinds of things. Discuss!

Right. That makes sense. I'm just trying to see what a lot of people think. That's certainly something to consider if you're trying to hide and the hat gives you away lol. Would defeat the purpose of hiding. -
Hammertime used to wear cowboy hats to troll me since they knew I couldn't aim against people wearing hats. </3
Brace yourselves, another
*you couldn't aim to begin with*
joke is coming. hueheuheuehueh
1. Panda hat makes your head invisible in BC subbase, js.
2. Black muzzle is by far the hardest one to see, especially through smoke.
At first I was going to suggest not allowing any items but not taking rounds away from the team. Just having the other team tell whoever is wearing something to take it off but now that I think about it:
1. People would abuse it.
2. You might not notice an item till it makes you lose a round.
We're all adults here, let's just ****ing go to our storages and take our **** off. -
I say allow them lol I was dq'ed for having a turkey on my back and a cowboy hat, that didn't effect the game whatsoever, but they got rounds simply because I had them on. It honestly would not have made a difference if I did or didn't. But yes some masks can be used to hide flash goggles, so I say no masks but hats and goggles backpacks should be allowed.
No Muzzle flash should be or the name color neither, the colored name makes it hard to tell who is alive if you aren't using the indicator at the top of the screen. -
what is the need in even having cosmetic items turned on? exp?
It's not so much the need, its more about all the fuss that's raised over having these items on in the first place. Nowadays, people try to get other teams disqualified over a miniscule thing such as cosmetic items. -
