Calibre 1 looking
Calibre1 is looking for an active/dedicated 4th/5th and sub to finalize our roster for upcoming tournaments (CFStars, WCG, OCG, etc.). Unfortunately, we did not have the time to utilize our resources to it's fullest potential, but, now that we have several months to become prepared, we are opening our doors. Please read over the following credentials before messaging me about joining the team:
- Be active/dedicated: Be able to attend practice which can start from anywhere between 8-9 PM EST, till whenever we decide to call it a night. We do not have a set practice schedule yet due to the fact we do not have a finalized 5, but, once we do we can work toward that. We are not looking for someone who is not reliable. If you are an unreliable person, this is not the team for you.
- Be willing to learn: Keep the ego at the door please. Come in and be willing to take positive criticism. We are a team of players that are both new and very experienced in CF. If I do not have any issues learning the game, you shouldn't either. Want to deathmatch and practice setups/strats with the team.
- Have the potential to be great: If you know for a fact if you have been playing this game for years and do not have much room for growth, this is unfortunately not the team for you. Our goal is to become the best team in CF, so with those goals in mind, please be realistic with yourself and not waste each other's time.
- Teamwork: We are investing our time in this game together as a team, and we are here to win together as a team. I don't need anyone who is going to hold w and m1 all game, I need someone who can follow our ingame leader, and be able to communicate and follow direction. Communication is a must to apply for this team, some of us come from very strong competitive gaming backgrounds, and, we have extremely strong communication. We need others who realize that we need to win rounds as a team and not individually.
- Be mature: Our ages on the team range from anywhere between 20 to 24. We are not exactly the most mature of adults, but, we do like to keep the trolling and **** talking to a minimum. We try to steer away from speaking to the other team and trolling our own teammates. Obviously, this is a game, and in a game we must have fun, so we do joke around and have a good time, just not at the expense of being unprofessional.
Our goal as stated earlier is to become the best team in CF. We need a 4th/5th who have that same mentality, and, understands that actions speak louder than words when it comes to becoming the best.

Indeed. Thank you for the wishes, we hope to come back next time with less barking and more biting. I am a firm believer in containing a starting five and working out what needs to be fixed to stay together, but, in this case the unfortunate result was the inability to cope with each other.
I wish the best of luck to our previous teammates, and, I hope everyone finds what they seek in Crossfire. -
From my own experience:
-Be ready to have a ****load of your time wasted. Can't remember one time we agreed on a time and actually got the whole 5 on and practice/scrimmed. Literally half the time you play cf, you'll wait for people to get on.
-Hypocrisy and pointing fingers at the wrong people: Be ready to take blame for things that weren't exactly your fault. (Being blamed for multiple things over the course of 2 months is fine. Pointing out that *********** (not pointing fingers) isn't calling whenever he dies is a crime and that individual doesn't do anything about it. (If you disagree with this talk to reid. He pointed it out himself.
-Weird roster: The fact that we tried to pick up umad, cnk, ck and multiple other players just so that we wouldn't have to play with zain should tell you how this whole thing is not making much sense.
Don't get butthurt over what I said, you know it's true. Good luck! -

Thanks Joon. I hope one day we will be able to represent the USA and/or NA scene at an international tournament. We will have a lot more time to get prepared for the upcoming major tournaments now. I am looking forward to this! -

I am a very friendly player. I love animals, they're my life. Some of my favorite animals are horses, cats, dogs, and ferrets. I enjoy taking walks on the beach at mid-after noon. So please no practice at sunset time. I'm a morally good person, so please don't cuss in front of me. I am clean and I don't do drugs. I would greatly appreciate if I could receive a tryout.
