If you master the AK, In most situations on the right map you can own anyone.
I find it particularly useful in maps where its either close range or long range, medium range there are more well suited rifles to a mid range killing single burst.
IE close range, point at their knees and spray, long range click click click dead.
Medium range you have to burst it, and the longer cool down for the recoil can sometimes cost you. But with practice it will work in any situation if you know your weapon. -

Yea its easy to try spraying, But it just doesnt work with AK, if you wanna burst 5 or spray across a map use an m4, The ak must be click click click'd at long range or your just gonna be shooting at the birds
totally true . AK is a beast as rifle if one can master it.
But one thing I remarked , before using the AK I was having the QBZ and I could kill a ghost from B entrance to A in Metro with 3 shots but never been able to do it with the AK since 2 weeks I am using it.

Def-Con and i were testing the recoil and how to get headshots, the thing is, after the first bullet lands the second one goes a lil bit higher. He was aiming at my neck, very close to the head expecting that the recoil would bump the second bullet to my head, for some reason that never gave him a HS and the damage only counted as one bullet, i think its a new glitch idk. -
