Kanata Screenshots (ERICK is mad biased)

This started out as a joke, but ERICK is being a biased-ass ******bag. The story: SaintMalice disconnected more than 15 times against us; I'm disputing that Kanata didn't take a screenshot every time they re-joined. The ESG rules state:

All players must save game replays and end-of-game score screenshots as well as an in-game screen shot at the beginning of each half; in the event of a dispute, these assets will be used as evidence to determine the result of the dispute.

1. ERICK was ****ty at the start, and said we'd have to play 4v5 when their AC was messing up for a player of ours.

2. Blocked. was disqualified due to a Turkey Bag. Rules are rules, you can't change the rules on a whim because of certain people.


Edit: Ha, you're right. It's a scumbag thing to do. But, when other teams get away with doing it (LOL Turkey Bag DQ), you can't make an exception just because you're tired of the drama. That's not how rules work. I only am pursuing it because ERICK is such a ******bag.

You can change rules on a whim, if its in the rules that they can be changed at any time, and its usually at the discretion of an Admin on how to enforce the rules. You lost, yes maybe the rules were changed, but it wasnt unfair that they did it, because its specified in their rules they can do so. Their is a losers bracket, if you really want to beat them, just do it there.

I'm rightfully upset, because you're being biased toward a team when you've had no problem being a "scumbag" to teams who have no names (or when well-respected teams make the accusations; i.e. Carpe Diem).

Edit: You're right that it's not unfair that they change the rules, ZZXQ, but the fact of the matter is that, before they changed the rules, Kanata broke them.

Why do they need end of game screenshots and replays for a dispute if their match was casted and already recorded? Did you think mid way through your match that "oh hey they're probably not going to save screenshots, we'll just use it to our advantage if we lose".

I'm pretty sure disputes are handled by an admin's better judgement anyways... I don't see anywhere in their rules that it says they get DQ'd from the match if they break a certain rule. Kanata could be disciplined with a warning, correct me if i'm wrong.

True, but like I said its up to the discretion of the Admin to decide how to enforce the rules. Im not saying that the decision was right, Im just saying its completely justifiable that they would make the decision they did. Its not like its your only chance, its double elimination, just talk to the admins about adding rules to prevent massive amounts of DC's or a way to check and see if they are occurring purposely.

Still don't understand why they would need to save replays and screenshots when the match was recorded already. The only reason that rule is there is just incase a dispute happens.. If the match is casted.... then why save.....? Yeah it's a rule but, does it really come in hand anymore?

Blocked. was DQ'd. Previously, when Carpe D!em protested, Kanata was DQ'd. Now, without a warning, teams are no longer able to dispute? That's where I find it unfair. Then, after I call them out on it, Erick says "yeah, I'm gonna change the rules now..."

That's not how a league is run; that's not "fair" in any capacity. No matter who it is, you stick with your rules. You don't say "lol I'm not gonna make them do that...oh, I can change the rules. They don't have to do that anymore, so they didn't have to do that then."

That doesn't make sense at all. I'm not being "unsportsmanlike"; I'm ****ed that Erick is making a horrible decision so cavalierly, especially after trying to screw us over with the AC.

Because it's in the rules. Plain and simple. Kanata (assuming they all did not), broke those rules. ERICK then said "oh well those don't apply to them". Are you kidding me? Here is what it comes down to.

As Ha posted, ESG admins reserve the right to modify/adapt the rules based on what we see fit.

First of all, this is only in the event of a score dispute, this rule doesn't pertain to disconnects by any means.

Second of all, posting on the forums like this and being disrespectful towards ESG admins won't get you anywhere from where you started. You're essentially wasting your own time by trying to prove a point that's irrelevant to what you're complaining about and making yourself look like an idiot.

1. Kanata was more than patient and waited for your player to get the client issue fixed which was NOT an ESG issue rather your players issue. Which was resolved.

2. Blocked was given a round penalty for each round it occurred on. Just the same as Kanata was when Malte had a bag.

At the end of the day you can dispute screenshots and everything you want. The outcome will not change. End of story.
