HELP i keep getting this error

ok so this is my problem
ever since my computer system was re-installed i cant start up crossfire anymore
when the screen goes black and the loading screen is about to come up an error message comes up saying: "Error in InitRenderer (). Shutting down"
and then crossfire shuts down i have tried re-installing it many times but it never the same message keeps coming up.
Can anyone PLEASE help me with this

Do you have the latest DirectX version and your graphics card drivers?

Your problem is exactly what he just said. Its your Video card either you don't have the drivers or your direct X is old. Well there also could be something wrong with your video card

The latest DirectX is 10, but that's only for Vista. Windows XP users can only use DirectX 9. I'm guessing the original issue was resolved by reinstalling your video drivers. Whenever you do a reformat of a system always be sure to grab the latest drivers for all of your hardware.

i got same problem... but i already reinstalled my video drivers and Directx 10.
I got vista and i cant run the game... after GG window closes, the program juust says: "not responding"... after that, Firefox stop working, and some more programs too :P...
