Ie3.0

Would it make a noticeable difference for Crossfire compared to a less than average sensor office mouse(I have logitech M500 atm, not a gaming mouse, everyone on internet says its bad and I don't know if its bad because I've never used a gaming mouse).

Also not using a mouse pad, and have been told it helps, so I bought a steelseries qck pro (large mousepad). Should I expect to be better aim-wise with mouse pad + ie3.0 compared to what I'm currently using(junky m500 with no mousepad).
It's been really bugging me for a while since I'm always going positive in scrims due to gamesense and never due to me landing sick shots, and I perform horrible in e8 hs mode rooms (Will get even KDR usually).

  • I don't know you so I can't speak for your skill level. But I can say you will notice a difference in the response of the mouse, and the smoothness of the movement. It makes a difference, but going from an office mouse to a gaming mouse isn't enough to make a bad player good or vice-versa. It may improve your game if your mouse tracking was shoddy and giving you issues.

Isn't response time just based on polling rate, which is capped @ 125hz in Crossfire making everyone have same response time?
  • Sorry I should have chosen my words more carefully. I meant that since most gaming mice have higher DPI settings, you will notice the mouse starts to register movement faster than your average office mouse. It will feel twitchy at first until you play with the settings to adjust to your playstyle. Personally when I play games I prefer a very quick mouse movement opposed to a slow movement that takes 12 inches of movement across my desk to do a 360.
  • its a flawless sensor, but the shape isnt the best

i would get it tbh, if you still suck with it just give up LOL
