E8 Competitive Montage I
Ladies and gentlemen the new series is here at 5:30am est! (Wanted to finish, work will be fun today though)

Thanks to everyone who submitted clips. If you did not see yours on this video keep in mind that I've saved them for potential future videos (particularly the bandi ones). I chose clips this time not just because of the frags; I worked really hard to consistently time the clips and songs throughout the entire video.
This has been quite the learning experience, considering this is my second major Sony Vegas edit! I really attempted to add some actual effects and "edits", things I've been criticised on not having. Panning the replays was also a new challenge for me.
Anyways, I hope you are as satisfied as I am with this montage and continue to supply me with awesome clips!

AHAHAHAHAHA! I knew you would catch that out of everyone! The funny thing though is that was an E8 Scrim, but the PW got given out and it became filled with BR's. Myself and a few others stayed for fun.
Overall though it was 2am, I wanted to finish, had that recorded already, needed time filler, #lazy. Won't happen again though!

not trying to be a dbag or critical, but i didn't see much of an edit, i saw a filter applied and sync and the frames cut to make a blinking affect, there is not much "editing" involved with that -
criticism
overall good job on the montage there were some points I would like to point out.
first: when recording, especially replays, always put on A crosshair, numerous people have told me this when making numerous montages. This is not my personal opinion but the opinion of a whole lot of people.
second: not sure if it was anything you can do about it, but try to make the resolution higher in general. It looks like 800x600 it might be higher but because you had to cut out the replay bar there was a lot zoomed in. That's why it would probably be better to take away everything completely and record it without anything in the way, I believe you can click "Q" to remove everything. If you do that, just don't forget to add player tags and overlay the sniper scope yourself for sniper replays.
That's about it maybe some more effects in general could've made it better. Great music choices, I find the hardest part of a montage is to choose the song, some might disagree with me. The creativity is started from the song, the song is what makes the editor hyped. Btw what text was that in the beginning? "E8 .... 1"
Good job a community montage can be annoying to edit but you pulled through. When and if you decide to make another one I hope you can take these tips for recommendation. You definitely got my like. -

Versed s BR team back in MiR and they made it 9 rounds. Once it was 5-2 most of them left. I think they gave out the pass because all the sudden "metapro" and all the m12s flooded the room. We stayed for fun. As I said I only used it because it was a bandi'd replay that fit the time required, it won't happen again.
Edit: I should add that the scrim to begin with a gong show.
