HGWC - Failed to execute game client C_ErrorCode: 5

This is a HGWC I get after it loads to step 12 and I uninstalled CF and it still does this. This just started last night while I was waiting for the patch! Please help as I cant even use my new M4A1-IB

Did your crossfire fully update, like can you actually launch the game or did you get this error whilst patching? I'm not sure about code 5 but code 4 occurs when the hard drive is full.

The game client is crossfire.exe, so try download that file.

I figured it out. It's the anti-virus program. You have to add your z8Games or Crossfire file into the exclusions list or turn it off completely when playing Crossfire. This will remove that error.
