i dont know whether or not Socks tried. i personally believe that they would be silly not to try in a qualifier for CFS. all i will say is this:
round 1, they attempted to no-respect rush us. we won that easily. after that first round, they used the same setups they did against Carbon
they won; we were outplayed, even tho they had one of their subs instead of their starting 5
yet i still feel as tho we did well, and i feel confident about our future growth as a team

I'll level with you. Aside from Snipes and Gee, no one in that list has the touch you are looking for. You are asking to work with hopeless people, and granted it is possible to polish a turd, but in the end it's still a turd. You are trying to compete with teams that have stable players, and stable chemistry. YOU yourself are not a stable player. Yes you are good, and yes you have experience, but damn it man if you actually want to succeed don't try to make things happen to quickly. Work with these turds, season them, season yourself, actually care about the game, and most of all, take your time. You have leagues coming up I believe. Surround yourself with these turds, become the turd. Level with these poor *******s. What i'm pretty much trying to say here is to not listen to me and my fail attempts to make a racist remark with the word turd. I'm sorry, but it is much to difficult for me to not act like i'm from Texas.

What are you trying to say? Obviously they weren't trying because they were missing shots. They didn't miss shots in WCG lan or WCG qualifiers, it's pretty obvious that they weren't trying. Even your own teammate admitted that you are a blind idiot if you couldn't see that they weren't trying. -

I don't have a problem, not with you or your team. I'm just stating that socks obviously wasn't playing to full potential, because of a ringer maybe or another reason which i don't know of. you want it, you can get it.. sitting here discussing how to beat these top teams and which players will do it is so dumb. you're wasting your time on the forums when you could be practicing with your team or individually.
it'll take a real amount of dedication to do it, i can name countless examples of teams that were close (WPA (ringers) in wcg 2012 took carnage to double OT)
the key to it is honestly trust and friendship, put the 5 best players in a team, it WONT be the best team in the game.. there needs to be a balance of fun and skill to really compete at a top level weather you like that fact or not. the best teams dont always win tournies, it's the teams with heart. you think the players in MNWKA had any buisness playing as good as they did in wcg this year? fck no, last year, banks and the boys playing absoluetly amazing crossfire and almost beating the top teams on lan? definetly not! but thoes boys wanted it and they were doing anything in their power to get it.
a team real soon will realize the key to success. the perfect time to make a team with some players would be now, play out esg and see where u guys are at. -

Correction Actually 3 top teams Kanata is also stacked!!
Get with me and create another stacked team that can compete with them!! All of these semi-decent teams has at least 1 great player if grouped with 4 more great players can dominate. I know you feel like if you just work with your team a bit loneger something will happen but it's time to be realistic! It won't happen in this era of CF maybe when socks and carbon retire but we have to do something now!!! If you know you are that one person please hit my xfire: powerofminds
