M16 and XM8 on History TV
I was watching TV at my grandmas house today and they had a show about the m16! I was like awesome! Looked more like the m4 except the thing rubber thingy on the barrel to hold unto. The game makes this weap look like a horrible gun that isn't powerful, but in real like, it's one of the best.
And they had a grenade launcher attachment. Awesome!
After that they shows two other guns, and one was the Xm8! it was all black but it was cool seeing it in real life.

The one with the grenade launcher is the m16/m203.... there's a FPS game called Black Hawk Down that has these guns. That game also have the m60 and the mp5. The mp5 is actually pretty awesome in that game compared to CF!
lmao, that gun is a m16, I don't know why you said M203 in it's name, M203 is the name of a rifle gernade launcher attachment. you can attach M203 in any of the M16 series and HK 416 series. M203 is compactable with most rifles and some SMGs.

you play wayyyyyyyyyyyy too much games, let me list out the promblem with the name M16/M203
1. you don't add the name of the attachment after the gun or else it's gonna be stupid,
example: you don't call a M4A1 with a Dottech reddot sight a M4A1/Dottech, it's the same for M203, if your gonna do it anyway use the + sign instead of /
2. which M16 is it? where are 4 M16s out there, M16A1, M16A2, M16A3, M16A4, if you are going to add something at the end of it at least list it's full name. -

There is actually a regular M16 and thats what it is called it is the first M16 invention made for the Viet war and the M16A1 did not come out until long after the M16 and the M16A1 is the standard rifle for the U.S army and the rest were just failed projects to try to make a VERY good gun better so the guns in your pics are considered "prototypes" if you will and the 3rd one is an m4a1. btw SHADOW I

The m16 looks a lot like the m4, at least in real life. But yeah that bottom one might be an m4 because the grab piece or waht ever you call it around the barrel.
U CAN PUT A "GRAB THINGY" on almost any gun it just makes it more stable when you shoot, so the "GRAB THINGY" has nothing to do with what the gun is. Example:i could take a "GRAB THINGY" and put it on my scar light, would u think its a scar heavy just a different color? NO learn about weaponry before u try to talk about it. -

you can't attach a M203 on a viet era M16. -
the viet era M16 is semi automatic......it isn't full auto.

the first generation of M16s (Viets) were full-auto, but later, the noobie us soldiers sprayed n prayed with it like mad, and wasted alot of ammo, thats why from the M16A2 line, they putted a 3 round burst featur to keep accuracy and small use of ammo
