Csgo is rattled

"I played that game for 20 minutes and went 50-1. Imagine CS with no recoil and no movement penalty. It was hilarious. I think we should secretly vote in Crossfire, show up to the LAN without practice, and then take all the children's money!" - mRWafflesFTW
This sounds familiar. Oh yeah, it came from every counter-strike team that played this game, got destroyed, then left. -
You do not get it, of course it matters.
Let's say at the end Cross Fire manages to rake-in 500 votes(it is an estimate) and keeps in #1 in terms of vote count vs all the other games!
At the LAN, let's say hypothetically Cross Fire has the least amount of players vs other games(which I predict it will based off the previous FG LAN.
A lot of people talk about going and at the end didn't go, ETS is 4 hours further than Toronto, probably a similar prize pod and its in Montreal; enough said, more worse than Toronto.
I wouldn't get your hopes up because you will be disappointed in the end.
Ill even say it, FG LAN wasn't good. There was surprisingly a good turnout with 12 teams and like 90 people. If LAN ETS can come up with a good prize pool for CF + Z8 throwing in some cash prizes, I wouldn't be surprised that 10 or more teams show. -
130 votes for cf.
in reality 50 people TOPS,
are actually considering going.. lul
You're so ignorant if you believe that matters. What value do games offer to events that host them? I'll tell you what; it's not found in the players that arrive and compete. -

I know why you quoted me. What I meant is that prize pool suggests it's a small, local LAN. That's why I stated that nobody really cares and there's no reason to spazz about the fact CrossFire is ahead with votes. I highly doubt anyone from US is going to bother to travel to Montreal for 2000 or 3000 dollars, correct me if I'm wrong.
Oh, ETS is a pretty large event but the prize pool is pretty unappealing so really only local teams or teams with financial backing attend it for the sake of getting lan experience. You are right in the sense that more than half of the people complaining aren't even going to attend, I guess they're just upset because they think the game is a joke (they aren't wrong). -

Pretty accurate actually, Making a CF event in Montreal that has a 55 dollar entrance fee, and you have to bring your own PC, will draw in maybe 4-8 teams tops. Any USA team wont go unless they are in the mood to waste money on a trip to Montreal, that will get them LAN experience against 1 or 2 good Ca teams. -

Sorry I should have been more specific in my post, I was actually referring to GO teams. Last year at ETS there were barely any GO teams, the turnout for crossfire will not be any better.. it will more than likely be a lot worse. -
