IP Blocked

So I'm on my college campus using their Wifi, but the IP is blocked for some reason...

Anyone want to tell me why this public wifi address is blocked?

I'm on my 4G right now but I checked my laptop and the IP is 204.186.176.33

  • Have a wild guess?

Someone got caught cheating on the IP multiple times.

That hardly seems fair that I would be blocked for another persons mistakes...

But I can still play CF, just not use the website, so its not an in game problem I'm guessing.

Oh, then that means a person has broken the rules too many times and got ip banned for it on the forum then.

Well, I don't know if I can still play CF off this website, just assuming.

I believe you can still use your phone.

    4G on Tmobile sucks lol.

But I have a desktop and laptop which I'm not able to use anymore with campus wifi, which is some bs.
  • Public computers/internet cafes and open wifis are blocked from crossfire due to the fraud policy of creating new accounts. People use places like this to "stay on the run"

Well, luckily for your, changing IP is really easy. Just youtube how. (Don't download anything lol). Just watch the video of some1 else doing it.

This just happened like 3 days ago, before it was fine.

Z8games/g4 have also blocked the use of proxys on (www.z8games.com) - its monitored by gamesurf or some name like that. Virtual private networks will get passed through but you will put yourself at great risk using one, your account can easily get flagged and also cheaters use these to create more accounts, you don't want "their" ip linked to your account.

Just use the 4g phone internet or don't bother using forums.

Ohhh, that may be tough. I misunderstood. I thought you were there because your home computer was IP blocked. Hmmmm. You can still try to change the IP on the computer that you're on right now.

If he continues using the account that was meant to be banned on forums (not his actual one he's on right now), that makes sense. But he is changing his IP address to be able to access a forum he can't (from someone else's mistakes).

Changing IP address's isn't illegal on its own, it's only illegal when you're bypassing something you've done wrong.
  • This isnt cool though... I didn't do anything and now its like I'm being punished for it.

They should unblock it for me since im kool, give Moravian a second chance. :(

    I know that. :p

I'm just warning him that permanent bans are given because of "proxy/alt account" - When using a VPN its highly likley somone has already used a similar address on this game for whatever reason, those reasons might affect you even if you did nothing wrong. All they will say is "There is no reason to use a different IP to your own unless you have something to hide".

I've actaully had one account wrongly banned because I signed up with a VPN in 2011.
  • Support replied back to my ticket an said users of my account ID (Which is only me) have been found guilty of inappropriate actions...

I'm not sure if they realize that it was an IP ban on public Wifi router and not an IP Ban on my account.

Not even my friend can use the Z8Games website from campus Wifi and support is trying to say the problem is my account. wth, is support serious?
  • Often my IP address is blocked for some forum sites. I have already seen and seen again I do not have any reported abuse. My question is while using VPN as many of them have mentioned that you can bypass your location or can change the IP address to another country is that real? I've been reading this article https://thevpn.guru/change-ip-address-to-another-country/ earlier and thought could ask opinions.
  • VPN's / IPChangers can cause you to get banned since its against the rules
  • I do not understand why this topic. If you've been punished, there is evidence of this. Nobody cares if you play in an internet cafe. While playing there, you were aware that there is one IP. If you played with your friends, you knew that one of them would cheat. This forum topic will help you as much as many other topics on cheaters. I personally enjoyed your topic because they finally start blocking for fraud. Gives you 0 chances to recover your account. Because if everyone was blocked, he would apply for unblocking, with his own defense (I played in an internet cafe, not me !!) Everyone would do that. If you want, play with VPN. I will write to you immediately that the VPN is paid and not once. If you can't afford internet at home, drop the VPN.

I bet you are from Egypt or Turkey.

[I wrote through the translator. I hope you understand]

    :o;)

I wouldn't use any mobile application to change VPN. These are applications with so-called holes. Yes, your IP will change to a different (Other country) but during the transfer your current IP will also be visible at times. VPN is paid monthly. There is nothing that works well for free.
I used the VPN a year ago in the Netherlands because Polish Internet TV did not work abroad.

I went to the forum and saw and wanted help. I did not check the topic date.
Unfortunately, you cannot delete your own posts, and that's how they are.
Next time I will look at the date ;)
