Best All Around GM gun?

I am planning to buy a GM gun and I don't know what to choose. Probably M60, XM1014 or Spas [How about the SMGs]? Currently, my GM score is 100 Kills/ 150 Deaths, which means i suck at GM. I want to be a good GM player so I might get a good GM gun.

Yeah, I suggest one of the SMGs. Shotguns only work in close range, while SMGs can still hit a ghost if you spot one from a greater distance.

Also, I've found that a M16 can be really effective due to its somewhat slow firing rate (conserves ammo while you spray), and is a lot easier to control in outright spraying compared to the M4 and SCAR-L.

I think that if you want a fast good all around GM gun Mp5. Fast to shoot, quick kill, fast reload, all this comes with a price though, little ammo.

The Scars are alright to have, good for quick HS.

My favorite gun though is prob, the M4A1 normal, Adv or Custom, fast and pretty accurate at a distance

I'd say one of the M4 or its varients, just watch your ammo when spraying. Use your pistol for that.

SMG and shotguns are generally the GM related guns. Rifles work good, if your NOT a sprayer. Believe it or not using the AWM isn't good if your a good sniper. Really easy kills in all maps.

Well the true answer to this question is obviously the shovel, but my MP5 advanced works well too.

Good spray guns are best. I would reccomend uzi, m60, and mp5 (adv).

M60, You wont run out of bullets, its good for close and long range combat, Spray and Pray in Close Range. Sniper Moder in Long Range, Bullets will Vary. lol

these are the best you can get for GM, get good with these and the hackusations start flying:

-AK-47 knife
-Kriss Super V
-Thompson
-SCAR Light
-Desert Eagle, Anaconda,P228
-M60
-Micro Galil (belive it or not, its rather good in GM)
-Winchester (1 shot kill in chest at close range, and with the rate of fire increase its even deadlier)
-mp5 Adv
-M4A1

Start to buy a headset to hear better the ghost's breat, if u do this good, then the weapon is not rly important.
Anyway i think that the Mp5 and a DE are good for gm.

The m60 or the xm4 shotty are very good gm guns is u can pinpoint well

well, the xm8 is the all around assualt rifle.....despite it's obvious setback, the short ammo capacity. just buy an extra Gp mag or two and your set. if not i'd prefer the ak47, becasue it's only 2-3 hits for a ghost death, anda it's really more of a close range battle anyways.

MP5 does fine, good for spraying, good for killing, and a lot of ammo. However, you really shouldn't use MP7, it hasn't enough ammo (and/or you need too many bullets to kill)
K1A does also fine, but meh, you'll annoy your team, because its fcking loud

use a silenced gun, unless u can always kill fast with anything else, or u'll be annoying. Had a game yesterday with a guy unloading his m60 aimlessly at the beginning of every round, and another guy with a K1A doing the same thing with his glock on triple fire.

thats why mp5 adv is the perfect GM weapon..

but any gun works for me in GM, i dont really like shotties though because of their limited range, unless i rush, then they're pretty good

tommy. its weird spray pattern will end up in a hs sometime, good ammo (drains fast though)
