Spectate Free Cam Default Angles
A big problem with casting matches is shoddy camera work/angles. Many times you miss out on half or more of a big play because the only used camera is the first person. Now like basketball, football, hockey, and every other casted event in the world, having a first person view is either never used, or used only as a secondary source (mostly on replays) This is because watching Lebron's head swivel around every .2 seconds would make watching and seeing whats happening almost impossible. That's why camera spots are designed to be able to see everything thats going on around a play. And while its alot harder to do that in an fps game considering it doesn't have a single item to be focused on like most sports, it would still be very nice to use the free cam to actually get more of a field of view then a single person at a time.
That's why the free cam should start being used more frequently. And to do that, crossfire needs to change its default free cam positions and make them accessed via hotkeys. At the current state, its slow to change cams, and all default cams are in horrid positions forcing people who do use the free cam to miss valuable time swinging the camera with their mouse.
So I've come up with some new default locations for port to show everyone how good this could be.
T Spawn
Current:
New: Not only will this new angle give the spawn location of each player, but also the type of strat they will look to break into along with spawn smokes/flashes they might throw and where each player will break off to, to start the strat. An angle like this would really engage viewers off the start of each round
Current:
New: While not a heavily concentrated spot on port, the new angle will open up part of barn to show an A long push from Ct's and showing the B ramp where T's may try to hold off the push.
A Long T side
Current: One of the very few decent default spots for spectating, this shows A long, T bridge, and a Ct spawn rotate. However an addition to this would be nice

Addition: This would show the A long for pushes in a much closer and upfront manner then the other angle.
A Long CT Side:
Current: Just ewhhh
New: This angle actually shows the A long push, along with an easy and quick movement over towards elevator side.
B long T
Current: Just doesn't show anything of a spot that stuff would happen on.
New: This one is in a spot where a majority of big firefights would happen at b long, along with a nice zoomed in location
B long Ct
Current: While a decent spot to show a pushed up hold for ct, it doesn't do much else for a cast.
New: Same as T side but reversed. Should be pushed a bit farther back however.
B Site
Current: Not a bad looking angle, however 2 comprised angles would work better
New 1: Shows B barn and a setup to take the site.
New 2: Shows angle from ct side though should be pushed back a bit to show big box.
T side middle
New: Shows entire T side middle along with bridge for picks
Ct Side Middle

just because you like something doesn't mean everyone else does
And this is why I have issues with streaming. People are never satisfied.
I personally like the free cam which I used when I first started streaming. It gives the audience a good look at how teams are setting up. Alot of the beginners and novice players like these but some of the competitive players don't like it.
Thanks Dr., I will start using these once again.
