i dont undersatand the 2-1 3-0 1-2 , first to 4 , thing

the 3 round halves are ONLY for tie breakers.
lets say the score for the game was 13-13, you would go into a tie breaker. 3 round halves so first to 4 wins. lets say first half is 3-0, then the team that gets 3 needs 1 round in the second half to win -

but if we win 1st half and they win 2nd , so that means its 1-1 , so are we goin on a tie , or who ever has more round won will advance ? -

if you win 7-1 first half and then they win 7-6 second half, you still win. however I think hes using the cfl point system
so its not a tournament where a team advances after a win, its a round robin tournament. each team plays each other and then the team(s) (not sure if 1 or 2 teams advance) with the most points advance
you get 1 point for winning a half and 2 points for winning the game. if you win both halves you get 4 points, if you only win 1 half but win the game (as in the example above) you get 3 points
for any clarification or any other concerns Id ask Ha as he knows more about it than me -

Registrations close when we get enough teams to launch group play. The first match will start a week from then.when the register close and when the tour are starting ?

I'm sorry for not being specific for some of you. Everything michaeldrk said was correct, except for the point system. The max points that a team can get from 1 game is 3. I made a mistake when I made the rules. It's 1 point per half, and 1 point for winning. So if you lose the first half, then win the 2nd and the game, you get 2 points, and the other team only gets 1. The 2 teams with the highest points in their division will advance to playoffs.Thank you and yea if we can get Ha to clarify everything that would be amazing -

ANNOUNCEMENT
- Brackets, how to report your match, and map order will be made in a different thread when group play is ready to be launched.
- Playoff information will be released once group play is over.
- The size of the tournament may be rising to 20 or 24, depending how many more teams sign up.
- Prizes will be announced soon.
- Divisions will be randomized with random.org and will be released shortly.
- Map pool may change seeing how we might need to add more that just 3 matches.
- Default time changed to 7 EST to avoid overlapping OCG's Default time @8est/9est
- SIGN UP WILL END IN 2 DAYS, AND BRACKETS WILL BE RELEASED IN 3 DAYS. Any other team that signs up will be added to the waiting list. If we get 4 teams on the waiting list before the signups end then they will be added to a division.

Please xfire me or message me on the forums if you have any issues with the schedule, rules, or specifications with the tournament. I do understand that ESG, OCG, and WCG are all trying to do their own thing right now.. So if you have a tight schedule I'll make some exceptions for you. Yes adding a sub does count as a roster change. The only time it does not count is when you're taking someone off your list. As I said before, roster changes are not counted until group play is launched. So this will not count against you. -
