West Coast server.

Why is west coast server offline? Are they even working on this? They are planning more events like Crimson and Log in contest, instead of fixing west coast. Almost all the west coast players have 200+ ping in other servers except west coast. I have 330 ping. ;(

same for me just play the prison map u wont notice the ping problems there if u dont knife

I miss west too.
It's nice having 10ping.

Makes my 70-80 looks awful on the other servers, even though that's good too :P

Prison is a great map although having a 300ping. I give up once knifers join because none of the shots ever register even though it's CLEANLY in their back.

i get 315 ping in the other servers, but i get 210 in west coast which is bad enough

Right before it went down I did something I rarely do. Purchased ZP!

I got some armor for 30 days.
I got exp up (50%) for 30 days.
I bought a crud load of crates and opened some of them getting 3 guns to break.

I get around 160 ping in west coast (I live in Seoul South Korea).
I get 335 everywhere else.

So now I'm forced to play with a 335 and watch my KD ratio plumet as I attempt to break. the weapons for the GP or watch them disaper into nothingness.

I think this has cured me form wanting to purchase any more ZP.

Dear Z8 games please make this right. I understand the server issues and the fact that not all things are perfect. But make it right and put a Kriss Super V in my stocking for Xmas

yah, yesterday was the first time my ping ever spiked....and it was during a freakin arena match. i'm second leutenant 3, not new. also, for most of yesterday, I couldn't play anything smoothly besides GM/ some TDM. I thought it might've been delta server, but switched back to alpha, same bs. it's like being given a bike for xmas, but all of a sudden, the entire floor is rocks, and u can only ride on rocks...sharp rocks.

My take on the state of the west coast server.

All other servers are under the control of Z8 games and they have people to address problems in real time.

West Coast server is probably contracted. Because it's PROBABLY contracted, it is one step removed from the control of Z8.

Problems like this one will not have a very positive effect on the potential of european or Oceana servers. It will demonstrate the lack of control and problematic situations Z8 will find itself in. Instead of running the business they will find themselves putting out fires and solving problems.
