US South Server - MUST READ
Hello dear Z8Games,
The whole latin community is concerned about what's been happening to our latency, just to point out some things, We get high latency to North American servers such as Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Echo etc, it was not that high on Alpha and Echo but since the ping glitch few months ago, all the servers were redirected to Bravo server location, the ping on Alpha got high and the ping on bravo stayed the same, (I get 129 ping on Bravo, and I had 107 ping on Alpha, that was before the patch, but now I get the same on all servers)
Basically we get the same high ping on all servers, Crossfire SA which is supossed to be South America it's a lie, that's only for brazilian players everyone outside Brazil gets 160+ ping which makes no sense at all, so the South Server is a must, I guarantee to Z8Games that at least one South Server is going to be active, way active, not like Alpha of course, but it would make all the Latin community happy and also a lot of players come back to the game since they get ridiculous latency now but they didn't back then and I can get more than 1000 signatures just to prove it, this is a big request, I know it's hard but Z8Games can make it happen without any regret.
About 1 year ago it got closed cause not enough players, but tell me about Foxtrot, US West, Charlie, they are empty all day! .... We just need this and believe me, South server back then was always more than half full, US south 2 was a big fail, we don't need two, just re-open US South Server 1 as US west has 1, this would be a big step for CF since the latin community keeps growing so fast and we really need good latency to keep the motivation.
I beg, and I hope Z8Games can properly analize all the things I just pointed and I hope you guys make the best decision for all the Latin players and to all the South players from United States as well, thanks.

All the US South players played in Echo 8 or US West.
Closing US west will lose a lot of Australian players as that's the server they play on, it was costing too much and no one was ever on it

That's not true, I always played there and it was 5 times more active than West, and Australians got CF SEA now, where they get lower ping. -

That's only I Western Australia. Australians don't want to lose all there guns to, what, lose 30 ping?

as I said before, that's not true, you can't compare these two servers, anyways this is not about Z8Games closing West, they just need to re-open South -
us west was more active because people in areas like California preferred to play there because they had lower ping, now people in the southern parts of the United States, have to be burdened with either with all the time & money you've put into the game to deal with the issue of higher ping, or quit the game, and to be honest, it is not a just choice to cancel south server, when it had a good amount of people playing in it almost daily.

Thanks, sadly Z8Games won't reply to this or do anything by now cause they think that SA players got CF SA but we get 200 ping there so it's a lie. And Yes it had a decent amount of people playing daily, they couldn't complain about it, I think they closed it just to push the migration of all the latin players to CF BR/SA what ever but they don't realize we even get higher ping on that... -
I think Z8Games, should re-open the US South server... I think we all can agree that since the past few updates have occurred, ALL of our pings have been fxcked up..
Day 1: 80 ping in Bravo
Day 2: 90 ping in Bravo
Day 3: 130 ping in Bravo
This is based on my personal experience..
But that doesn't really matters, I still reg really good and play really well, I'm just gonna give it a +1 , just because I used to get like 30 ping in US South, and I really miss those days.

I used to play in West Server a lot since I live in Cali and it had way less people than in South Servers. US West never was "much more active" than South Server.That's only I Western Australia. Australians don't want to lose all there guns to, what, lose 30 ping?

The inactivity on the South Servers was only a factor of the reason they got shut down.
The maintenance costs were way too high compared to the other servers (such as the West servers or Charlie/Foxtrot), being considered not worth the investment.
There has been enough discussion about this in the past, for example, the official thread by [GM]Saidin himself.
