So is there only 3 teams going to WCG USA Nationals?

Socks
Welfare

Thanks to Socks coming the 2nd place on the 1st Quals then 1st on the 2nd Quals, that only allows 3 of possible 4 teams?

tbh, anyone willing to pay their way to the LAN should be allowed. No point of having a 2 team LAN + Welfare. No offense to Welfare, the other 2 teams are on a totally different level than they are so its basically SOCKS vs CARBON for the win

I think any team who can pay should be able to go, just make it an open lan. It's way more competitive that way, right now all they have is carbon vs socks.

Now we all know that welfare only got that far due to the way brackets were set, and we all know they don't realistically have a chance at winning. But with that said there are teams out there who do have a mild chance of winning, why not let them go?

Couldn't anyone go last year if they payed their way? Or was it still invite? The amount of teams was decent last year, considering it is CrossFire.

Top 4 from each qualifier were invited, teams that took 1st got a paid trip and ****.

It was the "top 8" teams, but basically everyone just put teams together with people who were eligible so it was basically an open lan.
