uh, well so when i got this computer i ran 200 fps steady, it was beautiful, but after a while, (2 years) my fps slowly dropped to 90, so i figured it probably had something to do with all the shiit on my computer, so i reinstalled windows 7, wiped everything reinstalled all the drivers, and i still have the same fps as i did before the reinstallation when i think i should be getting 200 fps since it's like a brand new computer now..

what should i do???????????????

Possible one of the drivers is causing the issue. Try and determine if that is a possible option and rollback a driver to a better working one.

Nothing to do with your computer, crossfires fault

Beginning of 2011 I had 250+ fps in an 8v8. By end of 2012 I had about 70 in an 8v8

Also with that being said. Should test a benchmark in something more relevant than CF. To notice if you had a drop prior too the Reinstall.

yup...worth noting if anything, it will be a cpu-based thing, maybe too many progs running in the background...

CF is 90% reliant on CPU power more than GPU...

Also, in 2 1/2 years, my fps has stayed pretty much the same (maybe dropped by 10/15 or so) but anything over 60 can barely be recognised anyways...especially if you only have a 60hz monitor....

Open up your computer and clean the dust accumulated inside. Dust on the heatsink can cause a problem for the processor to function it's best.
