- What motivates you to play CrossFire?
Playing and having fun with my friends motivates me to play Crossfire.
- have you ever played the game competitively?
Eh, kinda. I was in a few echo 8 teams, did some scrims for awhile. Rung a couple times, and participated in competitive drafts.
- have you ever been to a LAN?
No, but if we have a LAN at Chicago, I will most likely be attending.
- Would you ever participate in a CF competitive event (online or LAN)? if not then why?
Yes. It would be a great time to meet people I play video games with.
- What are your likes and dislikes about competitive crossfire and its community?
The insane amount of trolling by certain people. Playing with some of those people make you not want to play any more in the competitive part of cf.
- What would motivate you to play Crossfire competitively?
Nothing, because I really don't touch this game anymore. Maybe once or twice a week, if I have nothing going on.
- What do you like in pub teams vs competitive
Pub teams half the time don't give a ****, and there are a lot of players in the clan, so there is more likely you will play with people, and not by yourself. Also if you have a lot of people on who play other games such as league and minecraft, its always a good time.
- Do gun rules effect your decision to play Crossfire competitions?
No, I own a m4a1 royal, and I hardly use it in clan server. I prefer reg m4, k2, and ak over most of the zp guns. even though I have quite a few of them
- How old are you, and how long have you played the game?
I am 19, and I started shortly after the game was out of beta.
- How long do you plan on playing the game for?
Probably not much longer. We will see which direction this game goes to. -
Hey just wanted to know what you guys think of the competitive scene and had some questions for you all.
- What motivates you to play CrossFire?
It's a game, Fun way to pass the time, and get to know new people you'd never have met otherwise.
- have you ever played the game competitively?
No, I never had the time.
- have you ever been to a LAN?
No
- Would you ever participate in a CF competitive event (online or LAN)? if not then why?
Probably, just depends on my schedule
- What are your likes and dislikes about competitive crossfire and its community?
No dislikes other than the trolling, I generally like most people so yeah
- What would motivate you to play Crossfire competitively?
The competitiveness
- What do you like in pub teams vs competitive
Pub clans are more fun to play with and egos rarely get in the way, competitive clans are just usually egomaniacs, usually being the key word not always
- Do gun rules effect your decision to play Crossfire competitions?
Nope
- How old are you, and how long have you played the game?
24 and since mid to late beta, 2008
- How long do you plan on playing the game for?
Probably wont stop, It's a fun game in all honesty even though it has its down falls. -
- What motivates you to play CrossFire?
Playing with friends and clan mates on voice chat.
- have you ever played the game competitively?
I've played e8 sometimes, not anymore though.
- have you ever been to a LAN?
Nope, I only played in my house, lol.
- Would you ever participate in a CF competitive event (online or LAN)? if not then why?
Probably not.
- What are your likes and dislikes about competitive crossfire and its community?
The rules.
- What would motivate you to play Crossfire competitively?
I don't really know.
- What do you like in pub teams vs competitive
Pub teams can use whatever gun they want and don't cry as much when facing wall bang guns. (Though a lot of people still do.)
- Do gun rules effect your decision to play Crossfire competitions?
That's the main reason I'd never play in a competition. If you're good at a gun it's op. If you pay for a gun, you should be able to use it. (Just my thoughts.)
- How old are you, and how long have you played the game?
18 and since 2008.
- How long do you plan on playing the game for?
Until it shuts down. -
- What motivates you to play CrossFire?
Friends and the clan that I currently lead. Playing with them is absolutely hilarious all the time.
- have you ever played the game competitively?
Yes, a LONG time ago before I had my 'NoticeMeOwn' account.
- have you ever been to a LAN?
No, but I would like to go and see who all of the people I play games really are and not what they seem to be behind a screen. (If I go, I'll fight you.)
- Would you ever participate in a CF competitive event (online or LAN)? if not then why?
Honestly, that depends on the people that I know are going to the LAN and if I know it will be fun. Generally I wouldn't touch the competitive scene because of how much it has changed since I was there.
- What are your likes and dislikes about competitive crossfire and its community?
I like the skill level. It's a place I can go and improve my gameplay and watch others, but it's a little rattling. One mistake and people think you're some scrub who should kill themselves.
- What would motivate you to play Crossfire competitively?
My skill set back.
- What do you like in pub teams vs competitive
More laid back in a pub scene than a competitive scene and not as much matters. Every round in a clan war isn't as vital as every round in a scrim where you're trying to prove everything.
- Do gun rules effect your decision to play Crossfire competitions?
No, generally I use the M4 reg and AWM, but recently after I won the M14 EBR that's all I have been using.
- How old are you, and how long have you played the game?
I'm 17, have played this game since Closed Beta.
- How long do you plan on playing the game for?
Being that I am a 'completionist personality', I figure that I'll play until it dies or I "beat the game". -
- What motivates you to play CrossFire?
My clan mates.
- have you ever played the game competitively?
It has been 4 or so years since I've played competitively.
- have you ever been to a LAN?
No
- Would you ever participate in a CF competitive event (online or LAN)? if not then why?
Depends on my team.
- What are your likes and dislikes about competitive crossfire and its community?
I dislike the drama and be amount of egos people have
- What would motivate you to play Crossfire competitively?
Having a good team (and by good I don't mean by skill wise) and maybe some nice prizes
- What do you like in pub teams vs competitive
I just enjoy playing with my clan mates, we just enjoy the game and it makes the game more enjoyable.
- Do gun rules effect your decision to play Crossfire competitions?
Not necessarily but I like lenient gun rules.
- How old are you, and how long have you played the game?
I've played for 4 years.
- How long do you plan on playing the game for?[/QUOTE]
Until the game is no longer fun or it dies. -
its not big deal to lose a couple scrims, as long as you win in tournaments
Boooooom. Why I'm way more chill in E8.
For some reason losing a clan war creates enough dark energy to pick up my monitor and toss it out the window, then mentally attack my opponents from afar with my rage. -

Then maybe I need to scrim with you. Everyone I play with makes me want to throw my computer out the window and sell the remains for scrap because I fail a clutch. -

If the people you're playing with only care about winning scrims, then you're playing with really terrible and ignorant players. -
-

A little bit but the teams I were in were so bad that it really shouldnt count

A lot of people are immature and very annoying

Nothing much could be said about Ghost Mode's competitive community since its so small and almost everyone knows everyone else.
- What would motivate you to play Crossfire competitively?
Nothing.
- What do you like in pub teams vs competitive
Don't see much of a difference honestly.
- Do gun rules effect your decision to play Crossfire competitions?
Obviously guns restriction is very much important in a Ghost Mode competition, but it does not affect my decision to play in the tourney or not.

Yeah I would like to.
- What are your likes and dislikes about competitive crossfire and its community?
I like playing competively. It gives the game a bit more of an edge.
I hate how echo8 has turned more into EGO8.
- What would motivate you to play Crossfire competitively?
More tournaments.
- What do you like in pub teams vs competitive
Pub clans all the way. In a pub clan you can also have a competitive side.
- Do gun rules effect your decision to play Crossfire competitions?
No.
