Crossfire competitive database launched!
http://bit.ly/cfcompetitivestats
There is a link to the site, It is a basic version launch. Im just looking for feedback and more information to add to the database right now.
The teams stuff took a while, but I couldn't obviously find everything. I am looking for personal players achievements as well as team achievements that are missing.
Also the player section will not be launched until I get 50 Players in the database. This is VERY time consuming and I will NOT add any players who don't provide me the information I need.
What I need from any player who wishes to be in the competitive player database:
Current IGN
Past IGNs
Current Team
List of achievements with their respective teams identified
proof of achievements (not necessary but preferred)
Any other information for a player bio you deem relevant.
Real Names will not be included at this time, due to player confidentiality if they want it.

I think that documenting the past incredibly thoroughly will be impossible without trading off a lot in regard to accuracy.
My suggestion to this project would be to focus on documenting from this point onwards. While it's still possible to get accurate info of notable events/a chunk of the past, there's only so much people can remember.
If you built a site with a user account system, and allowed people to create account tied to their game account (via USN), a lot of the work documenting things would be removed. The most necessary part at this point would simply be moderation and review of the players.
If you take this route, it also opens up a LOT of options in regards to keeping the community in contact with one another/educated on current events, and could be used to promote growth as well.
Something to consider.
EDIT
I started making a list of people who could probably help with documenting the past, however I realized that a list of people over multiple stages of a 5 year period would be stupid big and so I gave up.
Minty and I are the oldest two CF players (that still play) that I know of, I can't think of anyone else from 2008. Once you hit early 2k9 though, the list jumps to like 15 people.
