Hello Guys,

Due to a mistake on the part of OCG, an exception is being made for Undaunted, and the weapon restriction rules will be updated in the near future.

The ruling of banning the equipping of VIP weapons was based off the effects they can give, specifically the VIP-AWM giving players the possibility of recieving extra bullets into the clip of their gun. This effect can be gamechanging. However, it is only specific VIP Weapons that provide a game-changing effect that is relevant to competitive play. The reasoning behind banning ALL VIP weapons is that it would be ridiculously tedius to go through inventory screenshots of every player who wanted to equip a VIP weapon, for absolutely no trade-off in regards to quality of competition/play.

Normally in a situation like this a "no-tolerance" policy would be applied, and Free Nation would have been awarded the match. However, because of the uniqueness of the subject (VIP weapons) of the ruling in question and the lack of specification on the ruling on OCG's part, some leniency is being given towards Undaunted. We've looked at the offending player's inventory to determine whether he had the potential to use the VIP-AWM

After viewing the offending player's inventory, it's been decided there was no opportunity for him to use a the VIP-AWM, as well as ample explanation for the VIP tag. The CF rules will be updated in the near future in order to prevent any more scenarios of this kind.
