it's ok carbon didn't play by the rules in the golden round in EE it stats this>"If the game is still tied, one round will be played as a Golden Round (winner takes all). The higher seed will get side choice in the Golden Round."
...you could clearly see that socks wanted to go bl in that last round but demon stated no we stay on the sides we are now.....therefore not playing by the rules and putting it in there hand to win... but oh well guess people don't know the rules..w.e it takes to win i guess. -

that was the biggest moment all night and to think that it wasn't played by the books could have changed the way the night ended...it was the biggest momentum shift cause i know if socks got bl the side they wanted carbon wasn't winning that golden round... -

They are both great, but Socks is still the better team. Fact is, Socks has only been around for a month. That's kind of sad that Socks beat them in the semis and matched them in the grand finals. -

Fact is, socks has been around since late april (pretty much 4 months). Nova and I have been in carbon for less than 2 weeks. So it is Carbon that was put to a disadvantage, considering the fact that we needed to win 2 best of 3s (min. of 4 maps vs the 2 maps they needed) in the final against the same team that humiliated us in semi finals. So ... we beat the odds and you are here crying and weeping about a match that you didn't even participate in. -

Chemistry shouldn't even be a vocal point when both teams play an insane amount of crossfire together.
EDIT: And this is not knocking you guys for the amount that you practice, you practice as much as you do, you deserve to win. But when you practice as much as you do, no matter whether you have 2 weeks, chemistry isn't an excuse for you guys. -

I really don't understand why everyone is saying that. I don't know how socks is the better team. The BEST TEAM WON. It does not matter what the circumstances were. Late night or not. It just means that one team failed to prepare for the MOST IMPORTANT match of WCG, which is a bad quality (Not inferring that socks used that excuse by all means. People have been using that excuse for them).
All the other matches these two teams had in the past in this years bracket, did NOT matter. It comes down the the final match. The team who comes most prepared is the better team. The team who wins the MOST IMPORTANT SERIES, is the better team.
Carbon came out on top, they deserve it, they're the better team.... For now. -
The Golden Round was kind of crazy. But nonetheless, if Socks had gotten BL and won the Golden Round, that doesn't change the fact that Carbon won 4 maps and Socks won 0.
That was the best matches I have ever seen (ofc LL vs Carnage at FG LAN was epic too).
It was great seeing how 2 teams played each other 2 separate times with different outcomes. Carbon showed that adjusting their game strategy after watching the semi-finals recordings against Socks helped them. Looking at the semi-finals to the championship, it was almost day and night. -

Doubtful, I mean socks didn't win, Carbon did. Also, I found it significantly harder to beat Carbon than Socks in scrims/matches.
You dqed carbon for like 6 rounds, without that you would of lost like 14-5 and that isn't even coming close. You haven't come close to beating either team in scrims or matches.
OT:Congrats to carbon you guys made a lot of people eat there words. -

I played D1 High school Football on my Varsity Team, I was the starting Safety until I tore my ACL mid season. My team was the underdog going into the playoffs playing the #1 seed in state. The first quarter we were down 19 - 0 which is a slap to the face.
We came back to win on the last play of the game. So dont even start talking about momentum. Its just a word that people like to use for an excuse. You have to be physically and mentally ready for anything. -
