Headset question
Hey,
So I've been looking into getting a headset and I need help figuring out which one is what I need. I currently have headphones/desktop mic. I'd be fine with my current setup, but my headphones's leather padding is ripping from wear and tare (If that's how you spell it 0.o).
What I need:
- High Quality Mic.
- Preferred USB connection but can do jacks if needed.
- Something that will not tare because of sweat and friction.
- Something soft that won't get itchy after long periods of use.
I have a budget of 60-80 USD. I can spend more if they're worth the money.
*Note: This is not just for CrossFire. So don't waste your time with suggesting just buying iPod headphones.*
Thanks,
Nick

I can't tell what the ear padding is made out of. Can anyone tell me?
Also, is the swivel prone to breaking from a drop? One of my headphone's ears are super glued and duct taped on because my dog caught the cord and it fell (Thus breaking) -

Currently I don't have it but I can tell you it's a bit fragile around the swivel part. A drop won't break it (from a table to ground) but it is prone to breaking. I suggest wrapping the swivel with some scotch tape. -

So must win with these. Used Turtle beach x11's for about 2 years and then i found these and I bought them and love them.
-I sweat a lot and take them off and put them on like 20 times and hour and still no issues.
-You hear me use the mic
-Nice and soft like sex to your ears. -

I was going on the idea that persons would suggest I scrap the idea of a headset, and use my current desktop mic with ipod headphones.
