Origin is pathetic. In my short experience of using it. Manged to download 2 games(bf3 98% compltete as am typing) in nearly 2 days Considering I have a 50mb connection Thought I would be playing in less than an hour. But every couple of gbs it automatically pauses the download and won't resume unless I close origin down completely and open it up again to continue.Could I have used my humblebundle codes in steam to download these games?

no, that is the only downside with bf3 and is the only reason i preferred to play cod when i had a rig

The only games that you need origin for are Battlefield 3, Dead Space 3, and Sims 3 (from the humble bundle).
