LAN/tournaments warning
So recently one of my friends made a cheat for crossfire, even though i discouraged him many times. At first i did not believe him untill he told me to get in a room and watch his PC on Team View.
So i was like "ok" and i connected to his teamview, he invited me into his private room (i had no clue what he was doing..) he told me to hide anywhere on the map [straight away i thought he was going to be using some wallhack or something, but to my supprise he wasnt] so i glitched into a box then i told him to come find me. He told me to tab out and watch his screen, there was no sign of cheats. minimap was not on his screen so there would be no chance of finding me on the map...inside a box..
As he started to walk i heard a sound "[NWO]Warhawk is 100 meters ahed..as he continued to walk the voice changed, "[NWO]Warhawk is on your right" and there he was...right infront of me without using any cheats that are visible, only he could find my location through his earphones. He mentioned that he had already gave it to a few competitive players but did not give names.
How is this going to affect lans?
How will you find out if players are actually cheating now?
One thing i do know about it; he codded this specifically into mouse memeory so that the cheat could be used at any place, at any time without even being activated by a GUI or any hotkeys.
This thread is a joke. None of this is actually true, if you see this message in black, please do not tell the others. I want to see the type of reactions.
LMAO.

You can hear sound on teamviewer.
No you can't. I used Teamviewer 4 days ago and sound wasn't available. You can; however, use it's VoIP system.
LANs. Given that this is real, you'd probably only be able to tell if he started up a program. Or just host a LAN that isn't BYOC.
He could have been using the VoIP to fake the voice. Js.
[11:05:18 AM] Trace Kuhn: Does such a cheat exist that will audibly tell you a player's name and it's location (i.e [NWO]Warhawk is 100 meters away)

Before starting i did check if his mic was plugged in or not, im not that stupid..I even tryed different maps, places and even fly glitched with my friend over B site in Black widow, he found us.
LOL no one actually highlighted the text to see if there was any extra text on the bottom, keep the secret going guys..! -

I'm pretty sure there's a way to make that cheat, so yep there's a cheat like that, hopefully it gets patched. -
Also, if such a cheat exists why isn't it in VIP hacks? You would think...
To start off with, the hack wasn't "programmed" by a company that's going to put it on sale.
The hack was made by some guy that loves to cheat. And well, will give it to some competitive friends to actually be good while cheating. -

VIP hacks aren't programmed by companies, they're programmed by a person that puts them on sale on a forum and gets his money via PayPal donation. And where are you getting that last part from? "Will give it to some competitive friends..." -

i got my information from here
"He mentioned that he had already gave it to a few competitive players but did not give names." - Warhawk
Well I don't think it's going to be on sale because i'd be easier to get detected -

Most VIP cheats are for blatent cheating, more or less the "I HACK CHEAT KIDS LOOK AT ME" type of thing. Whereas he specifically designed this with one purpose only, to try give an edge to calling out positions to go to.
lmao at the guys who think this is real -
