Not up to date on all the competitive stuff.

Any decent teams that are recruiting or am I wasting my time?

Trying to get back into the eu competitive side of the game, once again.

connections in UK3 ch8 , they mostly ask a ringer you could join but be aware there are many germans who get mad when you 1 tap them ( *cough* cough* diggie. *cough* )

There are some teams & clans playing scrims on UK3 Channel 8 daily.
Also a European tournament going on: http://www.coretournament.eu

... you're out of the loop I guess. 99.9% of the UK competitive players quit since they can't compete in CF EU. There are no good teams playing here.

EDIT: Not that I know of any way. I've tried many times to get some teams competing and I think it's worked a bit but as far as I know there's still barely anything going on in the UK servers.

EDIT#2: I saw the tournament, 16 teams is pretty good, looks like it's going well.

Yeah I played some Germans yesterday and got the same response.

Yeah I knew most people had moved away since cf eu, guess I'll have to look over there is nothing comes of here.

The standard of player seems to of dropped dramatically in uk3 8, shame.

The CrossFire EU community is bad enough even with ESL. Also you won't be able to compete in ESL (one of the only good things) since you're from the UK like I am.

Looks like OCG tried to run a pug a couple of days ago and only 2 teams worth of players turned up. People have tried to revive the community I know, just can't see it happening myself.

EDIT: for eu players.

Well... 16 teams are playing or did play the core tournament... only around 50 people voted for the UK servers to get tournaments held by OCG and only 2 teams showed up to the draft... It's the people that aren't putting in the effort or just aren't aware. 16 teams is at least 80 people not including subs or other members of the teams. If everyone who's been playing the core tournament votes then we'll be almost there. Having OCG includes having a good anti-cheat. After OCG there will be more tournaments in the future. Special thanks to pjay I believe for putting in a lot of effort casting and holding tournaments. Stick around Dupes, the community is making progress, little by little.

British atm, It's been Get5/NoFatChix before. I think it was you who me and Musti made a draft with at some point. But anyways, what I meant was, come by every now and then and check on the progress.

Ah yeh it was, didn't have the time to stick around back then though, shame.
