Your "opinion" on "video editing" is not all that important. If you had 1 mil+ subscribers on YT from edits, then maybe your opinion would make a difference.
His video is an edit. The whole purpose of an edit is to make the video better, if he just uploads the raw clip, then it just looks bad. Editing the clip makes the video a lot better.
Ex:

(notice after I get the first 2k and I push up B long, I spray and miss a couple shots)
Edited clip - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQy9EuLzVKE
(but now in this clip I take away the spray, and just add in the 2 click, 1 click, 2 deag, 1 deag. It makes it look a lot better) -

Why get caught up in the semantics? The point of a video is to entertain. You could call it an 'edit' or a 'tide' or a 'ballsack' and it wouldn't make a difference. Reid's frag videos are entertaining and that's all that matters. Frags make up the substance of a frag video (duh) and colors and transitions are just trivial stylistic choices, IMO, unless your style is actually unique, say like Denxi's or something. -

See, to me, you can look at the term "Video Editing" in two ways in this context; technically, or with implications.
Do x0tec's videos fit the term technically? Yes, there's no argument there. He is taking video footage and editing it, it is a video edit.
Do x0tec's videos fit the implications of the term? The real question here is, what are those implication? What's the spirit of the word being used?
All I can say is that if your definition of a video edit is rooted in whether or not they use certain technique when editing, I would hope that you'd rethink that. To me, a something qualifies as a "video edit" as long as the creator had a goal of creating some kind of atmosphere/flow/feeling to it. However, regardless of how you define what is and isn't a video edit, it doesn't really make much sense to me to post solely for the purpose of questioning the videos qualifications. Labels shouldn't really matter to people who do things for the right reasons, and it's always better to just offer some advice on improvement. -
